Where there is a lock, there should be a key. In the absence of a key, the user can apply to gain re-access to the lock. To regain access Proxkey has a separate software. It’s known as the Proxkey Admin tool.

Resetting Proxkey Token

Follow these steps to reset the Proxkey token properly. You can do it yourself or can take the help of professionals who provide Proxkey Token Reset service.

Step 1: Connect your Proxkey Token to the computer. Make sure the token’s power LED or indicator light is glowing.

Step 2: Open the token manager. Here we refer to the Proxkey Token Tool. This software comes inbuilt with all proxkey tokens. In case it is not available, you can download it online.

Step 2: No open the admin menu in the Proxkey Token Tool. Make sure that no more than one token is on your computer. For safety connect only that token which you want to unlock.

Step 3: Now you can see an Initialize Token option in the menu. Click on it.

Step 4: Next a separate window opens with a button namely Initialization. Click on it.

Step 5: Click ‘Ok’ to start resetting the token. Once done you receive a confirmation message.

Step 6: Now the Proxkey Tool will ask you to insert a new pin. Create a new pin and enjoy your token.
