DGFT Digital Signature Certificate

DGFT Digital Signature Certificate or DSC is useful in the DGFT portal. For new IEC applications or renewal of IEC, we use this DSC. Organisations can apply for this certificate. The validity of this DSC is up to 3 years. The applicant has the option to choose the validity when placing an order. DSC renewal is available after the expiry of the certificate. However, one can not use it in place of a Class 3 Digital Signature or a Class 2 Digital Signature.

Who can apply for DGFT DSC?

Organisations can only apply for this DSC. Individuals can apply under the proprietorship category. Applicants should have an IEC certificate ready (active or expired)  before applying for this DSC.

Validity of DGFT Digital Signature

DGFT Digital Signature is available in 1-year, 2-year & 3-year validity options. Renewal of this DSC is available after the expiry of its validity. Renewal will again increase the validity up to 3 years. We can renew both old and new tokens.

Application process

To apply for this Digital Signature, first place an order and pay the required fee. Once the order is placed, a unique order number is generated and sent to your mobile number. One of our executives will contact you to complete the verification. Once the verification is done, your DSC will be approved. We will dispatch your brand-new Proxkey Digital Signature to the shipping address you mentioned.

How to complete the verification

The verification process is prescribed by the CCA department of the Government of India. It changes frequently. Generally, we do mobile verification, email verification & video verification. A soft copy of documents like IEC, PAN and address proof is required as per the options chosen during verification.

Can I apply for DGFT Digital Signature even if my IEC Certificate has expired

Yes, you can apply for DFFT Digital Signature, even if your IEC certificate has expired. We have special provisions for these types of special cases, and we generally approve these applications.
